HOT SUMMER GRILL TOUR, AUGUST 15th
The Hot Grill Tour that is sizzling through the South is coming to the Port City on Sunday, August 15 at the fabulous Port City Park. The Kernal, Cotton Clifton, and Riley Downing, three of Nashville’s hottest Counter Country artists, want to invite you to a BBQ. They’ll bring the tunes, and South of Heaven BBQ will bring the meats. The Hot Grill Tour is the summer tour that will light up your ears without ever having to touch that broken ignitor. The Kernal, Cotton Cifton, and Riley Downing are bringing the “backyard country”— ready for a beer and a BBQ with good tunes and good friends.

NORDISTA FREEZE CONCERT, MAY 16th
Nashville-based rock frontman Nordista Freeze will be performing a live show this Sunday, May 16, 2021, in downtown Brunswick, Ga. The performing musician, Nordista Freeze, is a rising star of the Nashville independent music scene. NPR once profiled the artist as "the most beautiful and perfect example of the Nashville music scene" while considering his music “as good-natured as it is brightly infectious" and noting "it sounds like an unseasonably pleasant spring Saturday in song form.” The concert is one of the first in what is intended to become an ongoing series. Piazza hopes that performances and events in Port City Park will become a staple of the Spring/Summer season in historic downtown Brunswick.

FIRST FRIDAY, MAY 7th
In celebration of May's First Friday, Port City Park was the host location for local artists to sell their one-of-a-kind artwork. Artists included a sketch-art cartoonist, metal-worker, photographer and painter. With over 200 attendees, the Park provided a perfect location for guests to play corn hole, shop the arts and enjoy the local fare.

FIRST FRIDAY, APRIL 2nd
On Friday, April 2, 2021, Port City Partners officially opened Port City Park in historic downtown Brunswick with a ribbon-cutting, art exhibition, and celebration. The park and event venue is the brainchild of Port City Partners Founders Brad and Elizabeth Piazza. The theme of the art exhibition was “a rising tide lifts all ships,” with Josh Dukes (one of the 11 competing artists) taking home the top prize. In addition to the art exhibition, Brunswick Old Town Tours offered bike tours to view Port City Partner’s next offering: Port City Lofts at the Leotis Building. Live music performed by Kellie Parr was heard from Queen Square, provided through Brunswick’s Music District and Downtown Development Authority. Two community partners were highlighted: CASA and Kid’s Port Museum. Guests of all ages had an opportunity to engage with one another, Merci Bouquet offered custom floral bouquets, corn hole boards, and a “What’s in the Stew?” game decked the lawn for children
